WitrynaI had the Nuss procedure when I was 16, I'm 24 now. Brutal pain, worst I've ever had, but worth it. I feel like I can finally take a full breath. Also partly had it to make my chest look normal. With the Ravitch procedure I would've had scars right in front where I was excited to have it look normal for once. WitrynaI had nuss procedure back in 2016, all went well. Even reduced scar pain with exercise. Never got gene testing for Marfan's because I lost the insurance mayo was accepting. My sibling has almost all the indicators, though. Lately, I've had a lot of joint pain as well as what I can only describe as weakness in the joint.
