WebJan 3, 2024 · The party must contact the court clerk’s office in person, by phone or in writing to receive the continuance prior to the date and time of their scheduled court appearance. The party must sign documentation reflecting the continuance and return it to the clerk’s office. The court will give the party the next available court date. Web1 The Court’s May 16, 2007 Pretrial Scheduling Order states that “. . . a Motion for Continuance will not be considered unless it is filed at least twenty (20) days prior to the date on which the trial calendar is set to commence. ” (Dkt. #16. ¶ 6).
