WebFeb 28, 2024 · The bottom line is that there is no clear winner. I have antennas (in addition to stock ones) by Diamond, Comet, Smiley, Nagoya, and others. I like Diamond a lot. My most recent Diamond antenna is the SRH770S. Very long and awkward but solid performer. If money is a concern the Diamond SRH77CA is a good choice.

Been testing a Diamond SRH77CA for over 2 months now. My testing showed me that this is a terrible antenna. Many have recommended it to be one of the best. Test it yourself! I can't believe how badly it tested as even compared to the stock HP antenna and many other cheap Radio Shack antennas.

The SRJ77CA has a female SMA that will attach to the Anytone. The Diamond antennas are designed for 2M/70CM although they are widely used as scanner antennas. Not optimal for 700/800MHz.
